Gerard J. Sweeney is a partner in the firm, with his practice concentrating in the areas of estates and election law. He has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York since 1979 and is a member of the Queens County Bar Association. He is also admitted to the Federal District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts. His practice is devoted almost exclusively to estate administration and contested estate matters.

Mr. Sweeney has appeared on behalf of the estate fiduciary on real estate transactions; appellate matters; foreclosure and forfeiture proceedings; collection matters; kinship matters; negligence and wrongful death matters; as well as compromise work necessary to resolve said cases.

Michael Reich, an attorney, is a member of the New York State Bar and Queens County Bar Association. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1980. Michael H. Reich is also admitted to the Federal District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Federal District Court of Connecticut and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. As a former Law Assistant of the Honorable Alan Levine, Judge of the Civil Court (Housing Part), Mr. Reich presided as the court mediator in landlord and tenant disputes, and prepared and reviewed court documents and decisions. He also served as Principal Law Clerk to Justice Geraldine Eiber, Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department, Supreme Court of the State of New York. Michael H. Reich, a lawyer, represents a variety of clients, including commercial lenders, real estate developers, private equity companies and various types of corporations and limited liability companies. Frank A. Bolz III is an attorney and partner with the firm concentrating in the area of Estate administration and complex Estate litigation in the Surrogate's Court and other trial and appellate courts throughout New York State. His practice includes probate and intestate administration; representing both administrators and executors, will contests; defending the validity of a will or challenging the admission of a will to probate, discovery proceedings, recovering wrongfully transferred assets of the decedent, turnover proceedings, contested accountings, removal of fiduciaries, appointment of successor fiduciaries, wrongful death proceedings, constructive trusts, defending or setting aside lifetime trusts, kinship proceedings and commercial litigation related to estates. Frank A. Bolz III was formerly a managing partner and lawyer at the firm of Crowley, Crowley & Bolz, a law firm in Queens County, before joining the law firm of Sweeney, Gallo, Reich & Bolz, LLP., formerly known as Manton, Sweeney, Gallo, Reich & Bolz here in Queens County. Mr. Bolz devotes his practice to estate administration, will drafting, election law, real estate transactions and complex estate litigation. Lawyer Frank A. Bolz III has been appointed as a referee, conservator, special referee and Guardian ad Litem in Supreme Court and Surrogate's Court of the County of Queens in numerous contested and uncontested matters. Mr. Bolz recently argued a Motion for Summary Judgment in Queens County Surrogate's Court in a turnover proceeding which resulted in a decision of the court awarding the Estate a Judgment in the sum of $5,460,927.79 plus 9% interest totaling more than 7 million dollars against the respondent. Frank A. Bolz III was appointed as a Court Examiner for Conservatorship and Guardianship Accountings by the Hon. Guy J. Mangano and later by the Hon. A. Gail Prudenti having served in this capacity from 1992 through 2002. He is admitted to practice in the Appellate Division, Second Department, and in the Eastern and Southern Districts of the Federal Courts. He has served as an Arbitrator in the Small Claims Divisions of the Civil Court of the City of New York in the County of Queens, and also served as a founding member of the Judicial Advisory Council of Queens County under the Hon. Alfred D. Lerner and the Hon. Stephen P. Fisher. Frank A. Bolz, III graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence of the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1983 and received his Bachelor of Arts in Management, cum laude, from Hofstra University in 1980. Mr. Bolz is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Queens County and the Queens County Bar Association. Mr. Bolz is a member of the Surrogate's Court, Estates and Trusts Committee of the Queens County Bar Association and a member of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. In 1992, Frank A. Bolz III was appointed as the Law Chairman of the Queens County Democratic Organization by then County Leader and former Congressman, Thomas J. Manton. Mr. Bolz continues to serve as the Law Chairman for the Queens County Democratic Organization under the Hon. Joseph Crowley and has successfully litigated over one hundred election law cases at both the trial and appellate level in both State and Federal Courts on behalf of candidates and elected officials. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Bolz served as Chief-of-Staff for then Assemblyman Joseph Crowley. Mr. Crowley is currently a Member of Congress from the Seventh Congressional district in Queens and Bronx Counties, New York . Mr. Bolz recently served as a Presidential Elector from the State of New York.

Ms. Trepel graduated from Vermont Law School and received her Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1982 and admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1996. She is listed in Who''s Who of American Women.

Mindy J. Trepel, Counsel to the law firm of Sweeney, Reich & Bolz LLP, devotes her practice primarily to Trust and Estates. This includes all aspects of estate administration and legal issues in both contested and uncontested matters. Ms. Trepel also assists the Counsel to the Public Administrator of Queens County in all aspects of the estates handled by the Public Administrator.

She served as a legislative aide to the New York State Assembly in 1981. She was formerly a law assistant to Justice William D. Friedmann. As his law assistant, her duties included legal research and writing, conferencing and assisting in the settlement of cases. In 1984 she became the Principal Law Clerk to the Surrogate of Queens County, Louis D. Laurino. During her tenure in the Surrogate''s Court, her responsibilities included legal research and writing, conferencing estate matters and presiding over various hearings, including those of guardianship and kinship. In 1992, Surrogate Robert L. Nahman appointed her as the Public Administrator of Queens County. She served as Public Administrator for ten years during which time she was responsible for the administration of hundreds of estates annually.

She has lectured at several seminars held by the New York State Bar Association on such practical skills as accountings and obtaining letters of administration and letters testamentary. She has also lectured for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn''s annual Wills and Estates Planning Program. Her articles, ""Public Administrator''s Office and the Fiduciary''s Responsibilities"" and ""Wrongful Death Compromises"" have been published in the Queens County Bar Association Bulletin.

Ms. Trepel is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association and is the representative of the Eleventh (11th ) District on its Executive Committee. She has served as President of the Queens County Chapter of the Woman''s Bar Association of the State of New York and is presently on its Board of Trustees.

Mr. Steigler graduated from St. John's University of Law in 1988, and received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1983. Mr. Steigler is admitted to practice in all the State Courts of New York and Connecticut and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States Supreme Court and the Federal Court of Appeals, DC District. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Queens County Bar Association.

John W. Steigler is an associate at Sweeney, Reich & Bolz, LLP concentrating in the area of Trusts and Estates and Real Estate. This includes all phases of estate administration and legal issues for contested and uncontested estates and the preparation of Wills, Trusts and other estate planning documents.

Mr. Steigler also assists the Counsel to the Public Administrator of Queens County in all aspects of the estates of the Public Administrator, including kinship hearings, real estate (auctions, contracts and closings) and SCPA 1404 examinations.

Mr. Steigler wrote and argued in the New York Appellate Division, Second Department the lead case in New York State regarding inheritance rights of cousins once removed when there are also cousins seeking to inherit, which was published in the New York Law Journal front page as the Decision of the Day. Matter of Shumavon, 260 A.D.2d 140, 701 N.Y.S.2d 441 (1999).

Mr. Steigler has been appointed Guardian Ad litem by the Surrogates of Westchester and Nassau Counties to protect the rights of infants and unknown distributees.

Mr. Steigler has traveled the world extensively on behalf of the Queens County Public Administrator and participated in kinship hearings in England, Paris, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Ukraine, Ireland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Mr. Wolthoff graduated from Saint John''s University School of Law in 2003. While at St. John''s, Mr. Wolthoff was the Research Editor of the Saint John''s Law School Law Review. Mr. Wolthoff received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey in 1995. Mr. Wolthoff is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of both the New York State Bar Association and the Queens County Bar Association. John L. Wolthoff is an associate at Sweeney, Reich & Bolz LLP and is responsible for all aspects of civil litigation, including trusts and estates litigation and contests, real property actions, and appellate practice.

Ms. Mehlman was admitted to practice before the Bar of the State of New York in 1991. She graduated Brooklyn Law School in the summer of 1990 and received her Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College, Boston, Mass.

Rashel M. Mehlman is an associate with Sweeney, Reich & Bolz LLP with a primary background in the lender practice field. Ms. Mehlman has over fifteen years of practice as a residential real estate practitioner, handling all aspects of foreclosure actions; including deficiency and surplus money proceedings; loan sales; stipulations of settlement; estate proceedings on the secured creditor''s petition; and contested foreclosure proceedings. Her bankruptcy practice includes representing the secured creditor on Chapter 13, 7 or 11 petitions; closing experience for the lender as financing entity, as REO/seller in foreclosure; transactional background through a certain title agency, title review, and title transfers; said representation covers the major institutional entities, including governmental loans.

Ms. Mehlman''s experience also includes landlord & tenant practice, appearance on holdover and non-payment proceedings; contested landlord/tenant matters; collections disputes; and co-op foreclosures and complicated real estate transactions.

Ms. Mehlman has lectured for the Queens County Bar Association on bankruptcy practices relative to foreclosures and post-foreclosure evictions.
